What is the process of concluding an agreement with UzGasTrade JSC?
The process of concluding contracts with JSC "UzGasTrade" is regulated in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the contractual and legal framework for the activities of business entities" dated 08.29.1998, the Civil Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated 12.01.2018 No. 22 "On additional measures to improve the procedure for the use of electricity and natural gas” and other applicable regulatory legal acts.

Why is there a shortage of gas?

Today, due to the increase in the population, the demand for natural gas is also increasing, and the country's resources are limited. In particular, the population of the republic annually increases by 600 thousand people, the growth rate of the state economy has increased by 5 percent.

In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 3, 2019 #. 964 “On measures to organize the activities of the interdepartmental tariff commission under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, the Interdepartmental Tariff Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan determines the prices for natural gas produced by gas producers and/or processing organizations and sold to the population and business entities in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
